The photo is of a mother holding her malnourished child in Yemen. Yemen is currently struggling with what appears to be a food shortage of monumental proportions. The Guardian’s caption says that aid agencies have been warned. Even so, with almost half of Yemen’s population going hungry will just warning aid agencies be enough?
